My name is LaTarasha Tate aka "Tasha Tate." I am from Memphis, TN. I graduated from East High School. I received my Bachelor of Science  Degree from Christian Brothers University and my Masters in Education from Grand Canyon University. I have always enjoyed working with our youth because I firmly believe each child is a gift and teachers have the joy of unwrapping the potential and treasures that are hidden inside of them. I enjoy traveling, walking/running, bowling, reading, and writing (especially poetry). I have been known to drop the mic during Spoken Word events throughout the city. I believe in striving for excellence. It is always a pleasure to gain wisdom and insight and then share knowledge and skills with others so they can be empowered. I love reading inspirational and proverbial quotes. One of my favorite quotes is:
